Every January it seems that we set new goals to eat better, exercise more, and fix a long list of bad habits we’ve been giving into for years. Then our schedule gets in the way, the Grands come to visit or work goes through a busy season and we forget all those good New Year intentions. If any of that sounds familiar to you and you’ve made a goal to be more active this year, here is an easy workout routine for busy Grandmas that will help you keep that goal even when life gets wild.
Stretch for 10 minutes
Walk, Cycle, or Swim for 20 minutes
Stretch for 5 minutes
If you need help picking specific stretches or getting more in-depth on your specific workout, here is a great resource… https://www.healthline.com/health/everyday-fitness/senior-workouts
Remember to start small and talk to your doctor about any recommended exercises, especially if you haven’t been active for a while. The important thing is to start! Also remember to take rest days, don’t burn yourself out both mentally and physically. You need time for recovery.
